This content discusses the concerning rise in both prevalence and severity of healthcare worker burnout. Burnout, well-being, and resiliency will be defined and discussed, followed by the presentation of evidence-based, bite-sized (aka practical!) resiliency tools for individuals and groups. Participants will be engaged and coached on how to begin practicing these tools during the session, and how to maintain the practice of resiliency in order to combat burnout and contribute to a healthy work culture. |

Cyndy Keener is first and foremost a wife and mother of a rambunctious toddler. In her nursing life, she is a Clinical Educator and Radiology Nurse for Duke University Health System, and Global Health Advocate and Program Manager of Interventional Radiology Nursing for RAD-AID International. Driven by a passion to see others thrive, she loves encouraging nurse colleagues in creating healthy and engaging professional lives. She graduated from Queens University with an MSN in Nursing Administration and a post-master’s certificate in Nursing Education, and recently completed Duke University’s Well-Being Ambassador Program. |
