The author has 38 years of experience as an RN. Over the course of her career (34 years fulltime in the hospital setting), she has worked in several procedural areas, the last of which was 13 years in Imaging, where she was the advanced practice nurse. She has conducted research in the areas of nurse-physician collaboration in the Cardiovascular Lab (Master’s Thesis) and research in the area of Interventional Radiology (PhD dissertation). She has presented widely on the topics of interest for Imaging Nurses. |
